Now, I' m a guy but I' ve come to understand that knitting scarfs or scarves is both a rewarding past-time and a craft hobby that produces really functional attire. Every year, the fashion category of women' s accessories grows and grows. You can bet that it' s not just little old ladies that are out there knitting scarfs anymore. The point I' m trying to make is that scarfs are in fashion year round and this can make for fun craft work too.

Scarfs are made by knitting, crochet, sewn and woven and have been worn for centuries in all cultures and all parts of the world. So much for popularity.
